POST 3: My favorite movie
When thinking about my favorite movie several films come to my mind. Most of them are science fiction, like Star Wars, Prometheus, Ex Machina, Interstellar, Back to the Future and even Wall-e. These are the movies I enjoy to watch the most, because they always portray a world where almost anything is possible. But if I have to choose one, I think I would go with Alien (1979), a film about a spaceship crew that must deal with the presence of a deadly extraterrestrial. I remember watching this film several times when I was a young teenager, along with their sequel, Aliens (1986). The reasons I love this movie are its tense and terrifying atmosphere and its female lead, Ripley, a strong woman who was brave enough to defeat the creature.
The last movie I saw was Stowaway. My dad was watching it before I joined so I missed around the first twenty minutes, but that didn't matter because it ended being a slow paced film with increasing tension so I didn't missed that much. I liked the approach the film had on questions about altruism and death. I recommend it a lot if you enjoy sci-fi movies that are most inclined to drama.
